The band has completed a highly successful visit to Ireland over the weekend of 22-24 May. On Friday 22 May, the band travelled to Cork, its first visit to the Republic of Ireland, where it was hosted by the St Nicholas Band. The band played in the prestigious Cork School of Music auditorium with guest tuba soloist Les Neish. On 23 and 24 May, the band was in Belfast as guests of Belfast Temple, home Corps of Bandmaster Jonathan Corry, for a well received concert with vocal soloist Peter Corry at the impressive Willowfield Church and Sunday meetings at the Temple. Programmes and a report of the trip are available to view from the Events page and a number of pictures have been loaded into the Picture Gallery. More pictures coming soon.
